NOW Foods - A Mission Rooted in Social Responsibility

Each year millions of individuals struggle to find their next meal, while thousands more fight a losing battle against malnutrition. At NOW, we work closely with a number of charitable organiza- tions, volunteering both time and resources to help their causes. We believe that improving the quality of life through basic nutrition is one of the single most important things we can do to help eradicate world hunger and poverty.

For many years, NOW has supported Vitamin Angels, a charitable organization that distributes nutritional supplements to people adversely affected by poverty, disease, and war. We have worked closely with Vitamin Angels since their inception, and will continue to support their incred- ibly worthwhile mission. To learn more on how you can be an Angel to those in need, please visit www.vitaminangels.org.

NOW’s passion extends far beyond health and nutrition. We feel that it is each person’s responsibility to protect and preserve the environment. One of NOW’s key commitments is minimizing our impact on the environment. We’re not just environmentally aware; we’re environmentally active. NOW has increased its recycling efforts and reduced waste by over 50%, resulting in less landfill contribution. Additionally, NOW employees volunteer their time to restoring local forest preserves. Most recently, we installed a solar panel system to help conserve electricity and reduce our carbon footprint. Looking forward, NOW will continue to do our part to protect the planet's resources.
