No Time To Be Healthy?

Good news-getting healthy doesn&undefined;t have to take up much of your time. Almost everyone is crunched for time these days which can lead to excuses for getting healthy-you may not have enough time to go to the gym, plan a healthy meal, or do something relaxing to reduce your stress levels. Though you may not have a lot of time, here are three things that only take ten minutes to do which will make you healthier.

1. Eat salmon. Salmon takes less than ten minutes to prepare yet it is one of the best health choices that you can make. Lack of blood flow to the brain can lead to stroke and memory loss, but the omega-3s in fish like wild salmon can keep the blood flowing to your brain. Omega 3&undefined;s keep blood vessel walls elastic and fight inflammation . They are also very good for your heart, which is why fish should be eaten at least a few times a week. Buy pre cut wild salmon and juice a lemon onto it, topping it will dill. Bake it in tin foil in the oven for about 20 minutes and enjoy!

2. Floss. Flossing is the most under rated aspect of dental hygiene. Ideally, you should floss after every meal. Trapped food between the teeth causes bacteria to build up which can lead to cavities and gum disease. Flossing only takes about 3 minutes but is essential for proper dental health.

3. Filter your water. Water is an essential part of life, but how do you know whats really in it? Water authorities have to meet certain safety standards but many water boards conduct very subjective studies on the color and taste of the water. To feel good about what you are drinking, be safe and get a water filter. They only have to be changed every two months and will filter all of the potentially harmful toxins and chemicals from your water.

There are so many simple things you can do daily to get and stay healthy that don&undefined;t take a lot of time or cost a lot of money. The little things add up – get healthy quick!
