Lose Weight Throughout The Day

The key to burning calories throughout the day, is to keep moving. With busy lives this should be happening already, however many of us work at a desk all day - so busy doesn&undefined;t always mean moving.  The other trick is to eat small portions of food often throughout the day.  These two principles work weel together, as you can get up and walk to a store or to the fridge for your snack.

To get the body moving, start as soon as you open your eyes.  You can do a few sit up crunches right in bed.  Great for the core, which is usually a problem area for many people.  No hesitation, no thinking or worrying, just start moving as soon as you wake up.  Next, when your getting your coffee ready or brushing your teeth, or taking a shower, you can do simple stretches and balancing on foot or the other.  The ideas is to get the body moving and limbered up for the day.  Walk, bike or run to work.  This may not work for everyone, so if you have to drive make sure you sit with a very upright posture, tummy in and spine erect.  This positionn in the car or at your desk will start to tighten your stomach and strengthen supporting muscles in the back, as well as give you a sense of body awareness - which is also helpful in weight loss.  Wherever you drive, start parking a number of blocks away from your destination, so you can get some walking in.  While at work, take frequent brakes to get up stretch and walk around.  This will help your stress levels and it has been proven to help concentration and productivity. So don&undefined;t feel bad about getting up and moving around often.  The lunch time or after work workout would be great.  But if the time is not there, at least go for a twenty minute walk.  We have to start turning off the tube (especialy in summer).  Watching TV is making us fat .  Plan some nights throughout the week where you do an activity with friends, your kids or your partner.  Get out to the park and place frisbee, anything to keep that body moving. 

So you don&undefined;t have to get on the latest diet to lose weight , you simply need to start moving around.  It&undefined;s not painful, it is actually very fulfilling.
