The Health Benefits of Melatonin
Melatonin is a hormone that is naturally produced by the body in the pineal gland. This gland is approximately pea size and it is located in the brain. Melatonin is produced when our eyes start to sense darkness and regulates our sleep-wake cycle. As we get older, our bodies actually start to produce less of this important hormone, and it is thought that a lack of melatonin can bring about age related problems such as Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, and even immune dysfunctions. There are two kinds of melatonin available-synthetic and natural.

It was an amazing discovery to learn on Melatonin through this article. If given a choice I'd opt to use artificial melatonin since it'll be free from biological contaminants. I did some research and found that we can procure Melatonin products from the market, some of the products are Melatonin Tablets, Melatonin and Liquid Melatonin. If Melatonin an antioxidant and an anti-depressant can help solve sleeping problems the products may be very helpful for people who have sleep problems. But I'd suggest that there is nothing like precaution.
