Foods For Beauty

What you put into your body has a direct effect on how you look. After all, we are what we eat. So why not kill two birds with one stone and get healthy and better looking at the same time?  You can usually tell by looking at someone if he or she is a healthy eater. Sleek hair, healthy nails, bright eyes and glowing skin are all signs of someone who eats very healthy. Here are three foods that can actually make you look better:

1.Avocado.  This fruit is one of the best sources of omega 3 fatty acids which are compounds that not only reduce your risk of cancer but reduce all kinds of inflammation in the body. This will minimize puffy eyes, fine lines and sagging skin while giving you clear skin.

2.Green tea. Instead of drinking coffee, go green. Coffee makes your body produce more cortisol which is a hormone that can cause problems with your skin and decalcify your bones. Green te lowers cortisol levels and also contains catechin and polyphenols-two vital antioxidants that have a huge effect on protecting your body and your skin from the effects of premature aging due to free radical damage.

3.Bananas. If you do not get enough potassium , you will feel tired and zapped of energy. Potassium also regulates how much water gets placed in your cells so if you don&undefined;t have enough of it your muscles will be weaker and will also appear less full. Make sure you have enough potassium by eating bananas or other foods such as lima beans or canteloupe.

Along with eating (or drinking) the right foods with essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants , take good care of yourself.  Get your 8 hours of sleep, lots of exercise and take time out to do something relaxing and make sure to avoid stress as much as possible to look and feel youre best.
