Help With PMS
PMS stands for Pre-Menstrual Syndrome, and is an extremely common disorder in women. Hormonal changes happen in the body up to two weeks before menstruation, and these change cause disruptive symptoms such as physical, emotional, and psychological distress. During this time, women experience tender breasts, water retention, bloating, body pains, and headaches. For reasons not yet completely know, some women are highly affected by this disorder, and others are not, although almost all women experience it at some point in their lives. It is a common misconception that PMS is normal and many women feel that it is something that they must live with, that it is a natural part of being female. Fortunately, this is not the case, as there are ways to relieve PMS.
