The study concluded that acupuncture was an extremely effective way to alleviate kinds of pain from all of these different ailments. At the beginning of the study the average score the kids gave their pain was an 8 but at the end it was a 3. The children were also reported to miss less school, have better sleeping patters and could participate in more extracurricular activities due to a decrease in their symptoms. Similar studies have also been done on children who suffered from migraines, enendometriosis in teenage girls, and chronic pain resulting from injuries.
