5 More Reasons To Quit Smoking
As if you need to be told that smoking isn’t good for you!! Just in case you don’t know the particulars, here are five very important reasons that you need to quit now.
1.It will help you think more clearly. Smoking may fog your mind. According to research, it has been found that middle aged smokers have memory problems and trouble with their reasoning abilities. Smokers are also much more likely to develop dementia, and it worsens quicker as well. If you want to stay sharp, quit smoking.
2.It increases your risk for diabetes. If you thought a healthy diet was one of the ways to avoid diabetes, think again. Smokers have a 44% greater chance of developing type 2 diabetes than non smokers.
3.It affects your sex life. There is tons of evidence suggesting that cigarettes cause impotence in men. Smoking restricts blood flow so much that it increases the probability for erectile dysfunction in men significantly, especially in heavy smokers.
4.It can give you wrinkles. You can almost always tell a smoker from a non smoker in appearance. Smoking ages you significantly and can give you wrinkles everywhere, not just your face. Smoking dries out the skin because of the number of chemicals in cigarettes, and the toxins in the cigarettes are definitely not going to help keep your appearance looking young.
Quitting smoking isn’t easy but it’s necessary. If you try to quit but fail, don’t give up. Most smokers that quit for good don’t do it on their first try.
