When you have an ache or pain and take these medications time and time again, your body will get used to having them and when they are not in your system, the absence of these drugs will actually cause you to get a headache.
2. You are consuming too much caffeine. Drinking too much coffee or other caffeinated beverages like pop has been shown to cause headaches. You should only be drinking a maximum of two cups of coffee or one soda per day.
3. You are eating the wrong foods. Foods that contain certain amino acids or are highly processed are known to contribute to that aching head of yours. Some foods that commonly have the finger pointing at them when it comes to causing headaches are peanuts, chocolate, and red wine. Some people are more sensitive to foods than others, so make sure to listen to your body after you eat these foods.
4. You are dehydrated. Drinking enough fluids throughout the day is essential to keeping a clear head. If you are a coffee drinker it is especially important that you hydrate your body with water, and not sugar filled drinks.
